Submissions

We welcome submissions of serious literary work, and evaluate each with a keen editorial eye for quality.

Please submit your manuscript as a PDF, RTF, or OpenOffice.org (ODT) document. If that is the only format available to you, we will also – reluctantly – accept submissions in Microsoft Word (DOCX) format.

If your full manuscript is not yet ready, please submit:

• five or more poems for consideration for a poetry anthology, or
• at least 5,000 words of a prose work.

Authors retain all copyright in their submitted samples and in the eventual published work.

Any agreement to publish is made with So’ham Books LLP, and with no other person or entity.

We read work written by people. We do not consider manuscripts generated, in whole or in substantial part, by large language models or other generative systems. This does not refer to tools used for spelling, grammar, or accessibility. We may ask an author to confirm that the work is their own.
